BIOS Settings Configuration

This guide shows how to configure BIOS settings for different CPU and motherboard manufacturers. ⚠️ Important: BIOS layouts may vary slightly depending on your motherboard model and BIOS version.

Advanced → System Agent (SA) Configuration → VT-d → Disabled

TPM

Advanced → PCH-FW → TPM Device Solution → Enable Discrete Firmware/TPM
Advanced → Trusted Computing → Security Device Support → Disabled

Armoury Crate

Tool → ASUS Armoury Crate → Download & Install Armoury Crate App → Disabled

Fast Boot

Boot → Boot Configuration → Fast Boot → Disabled

Secure Boot

Boot → Secure Boot → OS Type → Other OS

⚠️ Note: On certain Gigabyte motherboards (especially overclocking models), these settings may appear under M.I.T or other sections.

If you cannot find a setting:

  • Check M.I.T

  • Check Advanced CPU Configuration

  • Look through Tweaker or Settings


Disabling Wi-Fi & Bluetooth in BIOS

Some setups require disabling onboard wireless hardware.

Step 1 — Locate Wireless Settings

Navigate through BIOS menus to find wireless or onboard device settings.

Possible sections include:

  • Advanced

  • Onboard Devices Configuration

  • Integrated Peripherals

  • Wireless


Step 2 — Disable Wi-Fi & Bluetooth

Look for options labeled:

  • Wireless LAN

  • WiFi

  • Bluetooth

  • WiFi Controller

  • WIFI/BT

  • WAN Radio

Change their status to:


Step 3 — Save Changes

Save your BIOS configuration.
