# Add a Card Without CVV/CVC Check

### Prerequisites

Before starting, make sure:

* You have access to your **Payments dashboard**
* You have **your personal card** available
* You have the **card you purchased** ready to add later

> 💡 **Note:** Adding your personal card first helps establish billing preferences so additional cards can be added without requiring CVV verification.

## Step 1 — Open Payment Settings

1. Navigate to **Payments**
2. Click **Settings**

## Step 2 — Add Purchase Preference

1. Locate **Purchase Preferences**
2. Click **Add a Purchase Preference**
3. Enter your **billing information**
4. Add **your personal card first**

> ⚠️ **Important:** Make sure your **own card is added first** before adding the purchased card.

## Step 3 — Return to the Home Screen

After saving your purchase preference:

1. Go back to the **Home Screen**

This step ensures the new payment preference is properly applied.

## Step 4 — Add the Card to Wallet

1. Navigate back to **Payments**
2. Click **Add Card** inside **Wallet**
3. Enter the **card details of the purchased card**

✅ The system should **not require a CVV/CVC** when adding the card.\ <br>

## Troubleshooting

#### CVV Still Required

If the system still asks for a CVV:

* Make sure your **purchase preference saved correctly**
* Confirm your **personal card was added first**
* Try **refreshing the page or logging out and back in**
