# SYSTEM-PREP

**Step 1: Install WinRAR**

1. Download WinRAR using the following link: [WinRAR Download](https://www.win-rar.com/fileadmin/winrar-versions/winrar/winrar-x64-701.exe)
2. Once downloaded, open the file and follow the prompts.
3. Click **OK** to complete the installation.

**Step 2: Install Defender Control**

1. Download Defender Control from the link below: [Defender Control Download](https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/defender_control.html)
2. Once downloaded, extract the files using WinRAR. Use the password `Sordum` if prompted.
3. Run the `.exe` file from the extracted folder.
4. In the application, select **Disable Windows Security**.

**Step 3: Disable Windows Updates**

1. Download the Windows Update Blocker tool here: [Windows Update Blocker Download](https://www.sordum.org/9470/windows-update-blocker-v1-8/)
2. Scroll down the page and click the download link.
3. Extract the downloaded file using WinRAR.
4. Open the extracted folder, run the `.exe` file, and select **Disable Windows Updates**.

**Step 4: Install DirectX**

1. Download DirectX from the following link: [DirectX Download](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35)
2. Scroll to the download section, select the appropriate file, and download it.
3. Run the downloaded file to complete the installation.

Make sure "Install the Bing Bar" is not selected.

**Step 5: Install Microsoft Visual Studio All-In-One**

1. Download the Microsoft Visual Studio All-In-One package using the link below: [Microsoft Visual Studio All-In-One Download](https://www.techpowerup.com/download/visual-c-redistributable-runtime-package-all-in-one/)
2. Select the server closest to your location to ensure the fastest download speed.
3. Once the download is complete, extract the files using WinRAR.
4. Locate the extracted file and **run it as Administrator** to complete the installation.
